Fish Fry Fridays
In the past stations like the Hubbard cluster in Cincinnati have had info on all of the markets fish fries that were happening during Lent, up and on their sites. And Lent is on.
Back when Radio had licenses so we had to pretend that we actually cared about our listeners, it was pretty common for malls and CHR’s to team up and create/recruit a “teen board”. A dozen kids from various schools who would get together maybe once a month with someone from the mall and the night talent, and talk about what’s going on in that demo. So that both the mall and the station could be attuned to the needs and trends. It’s TOTALLY why I wore painters pants until I was 36: no one told me they were “out”.
